Hi, my name is Jordan Berg

I manage a professional photography studio, Photoberg LLC, here in Northern Virginia. This studio specializes in state-of-the-art digital art techniques and professional studio lighting.

I love creating fantastic realities from my client’s vision and putting together a one-of-a-kind experience and art piece to help express their own creativity.

I’ve been privileged to tutor under award-winning professionals and master the secrets of bringing your fantasies and dreams to life. I’m a member of the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP) and the American Photographic Artists (APA). I also studied at the New York Institute of Photography.

Photoberg delivers Dream Art Sessions in Northern Virginia. This is fantasy commissioned art pieces that focus on creating out-of-this-world scenes based on children’s imagination, a family message or other creative ideas.

We use specialized software with paint brushes and art tools–a “digital painter’s palette”. In the old days you might have an artist sketch, paint, or sculpt. These days, everything is digital. Yet the amount of painstaking detail is exactly the same. With the stroke of every brush, we sit behind a “digital canvas” for up to 30 hours crafting your own unique Dream Art. With high tech art tools, we make it look as realistic as possible and blended into one cohesive scene.

We also deliver Fine Art Portrait Sessions in Northern Virginia as well. Taking traditional portraits of families and individuals, but adding a “painterly” touch or bit of artistic style to create something truly unique and different.

How we do it

Initial discussion

First off, we will talk about you or your child’s vision for their Dream Art. We can create any scene, any environment. Every Dream Art masterpiece is completely unique. No two scenes are alike. We capture them in a scene where they are in motion, so it looks like they’re standing on an asteroid or they’re in a castle or sailing on the water, etc.

Photo shoot

The photo shoot takes place in our studio, in front of a gray background. The shoot takes 15 thrilling minutes. The rest of the work is done behind the computer. You and/or your kids will be dressed up, have props or whatever else should be part of the scene.

Photo editing

We spend 20 to 30 hours creating Dream Art that is surreal and photo realistic. This includes acquiring additional elements that are needed to make the scene possible.

High quality prints

When your Dream Art is finished, you get the physical, high-quality prints to hang on your wall.

Initial discussion

Tell me what type of portrait you would like to create. For Northern Virginia area I service maternity clients, families, children and professionals. I love crafting beautiful images and we can go over each part from wardrobe, make up and look you are going for.

Photoshoot

The photoshoot usually takes place in my studio unless you have a specific location in mind. For individuals, plan to set aside two hours to cover the photoshoot and not be rushed. For families with little ones I try to be as A to B as possible, so you can expect about a 30-45 minute shoot.

Image Selection

This is either done same day or on a separate scheduled day. You select the images you would like in what kind of print. I offer a range of wall art pieces and keepsake items for you to choose from. Samples are also in my studio for you to view beforehand.

Delivery and Final Reveal

In a few weeks, your images are completed and delivered to be revealed! These can either be picked up at the studio or delivered to your home. There’s no extra charge to delivery at your home.

Dream Art Commissions can average between $800 and $1800 for an extraordinary experience—and professional wall art–you and your child will treasure for the rest of your lives. This covers the cost of all creative work from concept design, consultations, photo session, access to studio wardrobe and props, any additional elements purchased in making the image as well as a final 16×24 wall art print to hang in your home.

To schedule a Fine Art Session, a $250 deposit is required which covers the photo session, access to studio wardrobe and consultation. When you contact me, I will send you a list of all my products I offer with their pricing. Session Fee does not include any digital or physical prints, unless otherwise stated. On average, clients invest anywhere from $500 to $2500 for their art and images.

We are located in Annandale, Virginia and service the Northern Virginia Area. If you are interested in my Dream Art service, but do not live nearby, contact me to see about a long-distance project.
